I love series that follow families, because I have a big family so I tend to relate to it. In this case, this is the third book in the series and I haven't read the others, so some things were a bit outside of my understanding, but that doesn't mean it was the book's fault, I'm the one that haven't read the other books yet. Anyway, now that I have read this one I'm curious to know more about the other Gibson Boys and the all storyline of the series, previous to this book.

That been said, I still loved the book. I loved that this is a second chance romance story, because I always have a soft spot for them. Especially when they are well done. And this book was a passionate novel, lot's of drama and problems that needed to be solved, so that kept me wondering and cheering for the characters, but despite that it still had emotion and it truly captivated my attention.

Since it was a second chance story, we get to unfold the past as we read the book and the development of the love story was much more enjoyable because I really wanted them to be happy. And as a romantic, I like to believe that sometimes love survives time and pain.

The characters were fun to get to met. Machlan (great name, by the way) was an intriguing character to me. He hold Hadley at arms length even despite his love for her, and that made me wonder what was really going on. As I got to read more about him and started to understand him more, even thought I didn't agree with him sometimes. Then there is Hadley, a courageous, fun, strong, beautiful and intelligent woman that really loves with all her heart.

Reading about their struggles, the relationship developing and all the sweet or even the sexy moments made me enjoy the book, and those are just some of the reasons I recommend this book. But if you haven't read the other books in the series, go get them. If they are as good as this one, then you are going to love the series. Plus... Who doesn't love to read about handsome brothers and their loved ones?
