This was my favorite book in the series to date. I am so happy with the friendships made and characters introduced. I’m glad to have seen how Celeana’s storyline came to a(n almost, we still have Kaltain, Elide, and the stone) close with facing her past. Dorian was so interesting in this book. His snippets were short but was a great display of what was happening on the inside with a Valg demon. I am glad Chaol and Aelin are friends again. I understand where both were coming from. His sacrifice also showed massive character development.  While one enemy has been felled, I believe I am in for quite the ride against the Valg king and Maeve. Very excited. Very happy with the series.
