I think I would’ve liked this far more if it were a stand alone novel, it’s a good book, but a bad sequel.
Taking place at the same time as the book prior, though following different characters, it’s a bit of a slog to read all the same plot points over again. It does connect some dots but I think it would’ve been a lot more interesting if it went beyond the timeline and plot of the first book.
