My second book by this excellent story teller and again I was captivated by the skill of the writer and her story telling. At times I was finding myself angry with some of the actions, beliefs and decisions of many of the characters but at the same time I had a sympathy with them as well.
This story gave me a window into a world I have very little understanding of and yet there is so much that is universal in the story. A truly remarkable tale of both epic proportions such as love/ hate, life/death identity/loss and the mundane matters of life such as food/drink/clothing and all of these are relevant to the story. I will definitely seek out more of her stories and would happily recommend them to anyone who wants to listen.
