Honestly, wish I had read this book sooner.
One of the problems I had was no one truly told me about this book just that it is excellent and having finished it now, I understand and am struggling to explain the magnitude of this book. But that seems to sell it wrong. Written simplistically, Walker is able to wander through the darkest and most human experiences which still maintaining a naiviety and charm.

The main thing no one told me though that would sell me this book is that it is gay! Yay!

The plite and hope of woman kind seeps threw every page and is the most wholesome of endings.
