Supernatural Academy: Year One by Jaymin Eve
4.0
Same world, new facet
If you’ve read any of the Supernatural Prison Books, then you will recognize this world - and even one character. If you haven’t, no worries - this is a new addition to that growing world and can be read with prior experience.
Maddison is thrown head first into a world she didn’t expect, but fortunately, there are a few gentle souls to help catch her - and one very intense pair of Atlantean eyes. It’s magical, convoluted and academy rich enough to satisfy even the most ardent of magical school fans.
Pros:
- LOVE this world and how it grows with each new addition.
- Louis.... he’s barely a character here, but I still squealed.
- The Atlantean five.... almost too powerful for one school. Not a bully book though, rest easy. Nor is it RH, sadly.
Cons:
- Foreshadowing gets a bit blatant.
- Perfect RH set up.... but nope.
