Still Lives by Maria Hummel

3.0

In this gritty, fast-paced "who done it" the art world is turned upside down and inside out as one of its leading artists disappears on her opening night. This was a quick and interesting read, but please note that there are some pretty graphic descriptions of famous murdered women ( Elizabeth Short, Nicole Brown Simpson, The Black Dahlia etc). I ended up skimming those pages and it did not impact the story.
