Was reading this to the kids but we somehow stopped doing readaloud time. They didn't enjoy it that much, but I thought it was okay. The writing was pretty good but the story is rather predictable and copies the David-Goliath story too closely. Nicely done with the medieval setting and the alligators though. Not sure how I feel about the feechiefolk vs the civilizers... :/
