I really ate this up even though there were a few flaws. Before we get there though, the good: the story is entertaining. The vibes are witches, demons, dark academia, & dark romance. The spice is gooood. And honestly that’s all I need to like a book lol.
Now for the flaws: I found myself confused kind of a lot? The writing wasn’t always great. And there was zero world building. Miss Woods really said dive right in and figure it out yourself!! & there were also a few typos.
I truly thought I saw the plot twist coming until it actually happened and then I realized I did in fact have no clue that THAT was what was going to happen. It really threw me for a loop!!
Last but not least, this is a true dark romance. Like Gray is not a good person lol. But if you don’t care about that then this book is def worth reading!
