So I didn’t just read this book and slap a 5 star rating on it. As any self-respecting cross stitcher/embroiderer, I tested it out! Y’all, I am not mad at how it turned out either!
I’ve been cross stitching for about 15 years, but have only recently dabbled into embroidery. And by dabbled I mean, just grabbed a needle and went at it without any real instructions.
Sturmer’s book contains 10 different floral projects ranging from beginner to advanced. Anyone could pick this book up even if you had never held a needle or if you’d been doing it for 50 years. The directions are clear and concise, there are pictures detailing what your piece should look like at every stage, AND every single project is completely gorgeous. Who doesn’t love a floral??
