a bit of disjointed pacing but i honestly really liked the way the slow build was ab their relationship before the jam packed action scenes. v enjoyable book overall. i loved the writing, i loved how bloodhungry Perle was, and how they described the sea, i loved the relationship between Perle and Dejean. just a fabulous book.
