I read King's writing book a month or two ago and he talked about basically starting out with situations, letting them grow the characters, and not planning a plot. This book felt very much like that, except that I feel like writing is shaping the story, not just shitting it out and presenting the lump of feces to the world as-is. I hated this. Haha sorry.
