✨Re-read from my childhood✨. I started this series when I was in elementary school? Maybe? But I didn't remember anything about it other than loving it. Hence why I am reading the series now.

This book was quite frankly fantastic. I love everything about it and I have no criticism. Right from the first page I was like yes! This is how I remember loving reading before school got in the way. I kinda forgot I was even reading while reading this, it's just a whole experience. Points for nostalgia for me and for the aesthetic of a creepy old mansion house. I adore the cats and the magic, which is very unique from anything else I've ever read. Where else can you read about people trapped in paintings and paintings that you can enter? And talking cats? What else do you need, honestly. A+ reading experience and it's always great to read not only a child favorite but also an easy book that doesn't confuse my brain and that doesn't have to have romance or anything like that. Highly recommend whether you're 5 or 75. :)
