Dark Delights by Mila Kane

5.0

I can’t describe how much I LOVED this deliciously twisted read, but I will try. The lives of Beckett and Eve have been intertwined for years and though he’s her brother’s best friend the same can’t be said of them. Beckett and Eve butt heads from the first moment they meet at a young age and over the years the tension between them intensifies. From the outside looking in, it seems as if Beckett’s life is an easy trust fund life, but his life was utterly heartbreaking. Eve works hard for everything, just to survive day to day and seeing Beckett walk around living the easy life cuts her deep. These two could not be more of opposites, yet under all the back and forth, the tension is ready to snap. They want to hate each other and for most of the book they do and then things begin to change. This story was twisted in so many ways, but my adoration for Beckett skyrocketed because of all the obstacles he faced in life and for the way he was utterly obsessed with Eve. I LOVED this book!!
