Sorrow's Anthem by Michael Koryta

3.0

Sorrow's Anthem earned three stars for building a suspenseful ending that made pages turn faster at the end of the book, a decent plot idea and a good name. It didn't earn more stars because the main character showed no patience and came across as an unwise bully at times. This is early Koryta and it doesn't compare to some of his excellent later works.
