really enjoyed this! considering I listened to nearly all 22 hours while working I'm surprised by how invested I actually was and how little I felt like I actually missed. don't think it's perfect or my next favorite fantasy/sci-fi series but I'm absolutely going to read the sequel as soon as I get the audiobook. it handled the scientific and fantasy concepts really well and I was really interested in how the world actually worked, and the usage of the multiple perspectives from like 5+ characters was done well too. will say that one of the biggest twists at the very end "the city of angels" did make me almost laugh out loud. honestly think a sequel to this could be a bit excellent so really looking forward to getting to it
