I feel like this was a solid 3 stars. I was kind of expecting more to be honest, but I enjoyed myself. I wish that they had developed the characters more. I wanted to hear more about Charlie’s anxiety and get more of his perspective chapters in general. I also wanted to hear more about Bailey and her father. I feel like those aspects were undercooked and there was too much fluff, I also think that the conflict could have been handled better. I get the whole bet thing but I honestly feel like having two bets involved wasn’t really necessary. I also feel like the ending felt rushed with their reunion. I just felt like I wanted a little bit more, but I did enjoy reading it. It was light and the characters had good chemistry.
