Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton

Kind of a slog to read through. The ideas are okay, but this was akin to reading fanfiction. There's also spelling errors of character names (at least on the eBook version). Maybe I'll pick up the following books sometime to see if the writing gets better, but I don't feel compelled to do so after this one.

Note that I'm aware this book was written in 1993, but considering it has been transferred to digital formats, it really could use at least a spell check pass if it's supposed to be an introduction to an entire series.
