"Listen for the Lie" by Amy Tintera is a riveting thriller with a quirky and engaging protagonist, Lucy, whose auditory and visual hallucinations of Savvy add an intriguing layer to the narrative. Lucy’s relationship with her grandmother, her unwavering supporter, is heartwarming and adds depth to the story.

Tintera's writing style keeps me guessing, making me suspect every character, which adds to the suspense and excitement. The revelation of who killed Savvy is satisfying and well-executed. However, the frustration with Lucy's parents for believing others over her and the poor life choices made by some characters are a bit irksome.

Overall, it's a compelling read that keeps me hooked until the very end.
