2.5 because the overall story was cool, but I wanted to like this more. The time jumps made no sense, characters liked each other for no discernible reason. Every time a character said, "By the Egg!" I laughed because it's just so silly. started off strong, but I didn't really hold up through the whole book. you would think Lessa is the main character, but "Aless" she is not, even though she figures out all these new ideas about dragon travel and leadership, but no, THE MAN, must be the one to do all the leading.
