This book was pretty good but not as intense as I was expecting. The story was very interesting but it was extremely hard to gauge how much time had past when she was in the work camp. She was supposed to be there 6 weeks, you follow her to the camp and know she's been there a long time but find out later it was 14 months.
Later in the book, she's on a train back to her home from the work camp and she's supposed to get on a train to Poland 3 days later. She knows if she gets on that train she'll be led to her death so she knows she needs to get into hiding. The book follows her while she's hiding but it never says she missed her train and before you know it, it's been 6 weeks since the train left and she became a fugitive. It was hard to follow with no sense of time passed.
Besides that, great story and the pictures in the middle section were a great visual and helped you get into the story more!
