mhanlon 's review for:
Days of Rage
by Brad Taylor
I had an advanced reader copy of this one. And I just couldn't work up any emotion about this book, not rage, not excitement, not joy, not even hate. It was a bit plodding, very complex, and for all the complexity and high class of characters, all of whom seemed airmailed direct from Central Casting, I didn't care a single bit about any of the stuff going on.
I really tried, but the book beat me, in the end, and I fizzled out after two months and about half way through the story. And I'm not crushed that I'll never read the ending.
