3 stars. Which means I enjoyed it and I'd continue to read this authors work.
Maria V. Snyder is the author who reintroduced me to books. I picked up the first novel, Poison Study while browsing the shops with my mother yeeeeaaaars ago. I read a lot of trashy YA back then and this series was my favourite (It was in my non trashy pile).
Maybe I don't enjoy them as before because I'm older and appreciate a more complex book?
Anyway, the romance between the mains is adorable and I'm so happy their relationship has blossomed and continues to grow.
I'll definitely continue to read whatever Maria V. Snyder puts out into the world.
