this is an author who truly understands the complexity of female friendship. our three main characters felt so real and so did their joys and their tribulations. watching how each of them handle the hands they’ve been dealt and relating to them through their attributes and flaws was a great reading experience. honestly, such a true testament to friendship that’s so important it borders on a different type of relationship entirely. it also covers so much within race, class, sexism, trauma, and familial relationships. highly recommend!
