Glint by Raven Kennedy

3.0

I’m actually going to call this 3.5 stars. Glint was satisfying enough, though I kept waiting for the shoe to drop. The books like to slowly hint at their reveals, which on one hand makes it interesting but on the other feels like it’s dragging it out.
Auren’s history and self is still largely a mystery. The creative choice of having her secrets hidden even to the reader feels a bit unique, and I can’t tell if I like it or just have the need to finally understand what’s going on.

I’m torn between wanting to go along for the ride as presented (I mean the twist at the end honestly got me!) or start spoiling things to finally get clarity. Guess I’ll just have to start Gleam!
