Witch Please by Ann Aguirre

4.0

My first witch book of the year so that means it’s fall, right?! Ann Aquirre’s book, Witch Please, follows Danica, who owns a magical repair shop called “The Fix-It Witches” with her cousin, and Titus, who owns a bakery with his sister.

There is instant attraction between Danica and Titus but after both suffering failed relationships and with Titus being a “mundane”, their relationship seems hopeless. I love Danica and Titus together and seeing the challenges they faced. .

The plot of the book is what really intrigued me. The world building and plot left me wanting more and hopefully in her next book some loose ends will be tied up. Witch Please is a quick, light, humorous read. I’m excited for Aquirre’s next book to hopefully dive more into this small but diverse, magical town and see how the rest of the story play out.
