Bone Crier's Moon
by Kathryn Purdie
I REALLY loved the creativity and the use of the bones. I also thoroughly enjoyed the detail of how their society used the bones, became a ferrier, and received bones. However, I believe this book lacked overall character development. I consistently read this book thinking, "That's it?" I want more. I couldn't connect to the characters, and the end of the story felt rushed. I will read book 2, as the story outways the "missing" piece for me. I think this story could have been so much better if more detail, development, and time were put into it.
