I was really torn about what to rate this because I really liked it in parts but also didn't. 🤔 On paper I should have loved it, enemies to lovers and a dark Little Mermaid retelling.
I really like the first part and the set up and the characters backgrounds. Weirdly I started losing interest when the Prince and Lira finally meet. It took me a while to get through. I just unfortunately didn't buy the romance and didn't feel any chemistry which is crazy considering the premise. The Prince was a little bland considering how interesting and conflicted a character Lira was.
I did like the HEA and how it tied up though
