Growing Up Aboriginal in Australia by Anita Heiss

I’m not sure how to rate this one. It tells the stories of aborigine men and women in Australia. I rarely think of Australia as another place where the English almost killed the indigenous people’s way of life. Just the U.S. and Canada. Eye opening, but uneven. Some personal essays are amazing but others seem to drag on. I definitely recommend taking your time with this one so the essays do not blur together too much.
