The Evolution of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
5.0
Oh that was a magnificent sequel! I loved it! The perfect combination of terror, romance, and supernatural. All in a YA novel.
It was beautifully written, the characters were flawless and more than once the hai rose on the back of my neck. Jude is a great antagonist. His sick mind warps everything into some kind if justification for torturing Mara. It was blood curdling and spine tingling and everything in between. And that HUGE plot twist at the end? It felt like Horizons should have been in a Scream movie. I recommend The Evolution of Mara Dyer to anyone who likes a good thrill or a good creep-out sesh.
