Confessions in B-Flat by Donna Hill

5.0

I thoroughly enjoyed how this book revolved around two contrasting movements, providing an intriguing dynamic. However, I found myself perplexed by Jason's beliefs. While he consistently advocates for nonresistance, his decision to join the army in the end and participate in an ambiguous war seemed contradictory. Personally, I aligned more with Anita's perspective. Nevertheless, this book captured my heart. It was far from boring! I was pleasantly surprised by the author's skillful blend of politics and romance, creating a captivating narrative.
