Aside from the Dominic scenes - honestly not great. I know I have to be really forgiving as this series came out almost 2 decades ago but still...
Way too much backwards and forwards with plot and character development. Sabine frustrating me. The random twists that felt jarring. The whole point of the series circulated on rounding up the charms to find the remedy to cure Nona. And when that happens it's the most anticlimactic scene ever. All that suspense... for nada. To only be overtaken by a side character randomly thrown in at the end of the series.
Regardless. These books are fast reads, good fun and enjoyable for the most part. The love triangle would probably drive you insane in Fatal Charm.
