Doppelganger: A Trip Into the Mirror World by Naomi Klein

challenging informative medium-paced

5.0

This book. I don’t even know how to describe it. It blows my mind when someone is able to draw complex connections to seemingly unrelated issues. Her arguments are nuanced and well-researched, and I appreciate her embracing of duality and contradictions. Every time I thought she was getting away from the central theme of doppelgängers and the mirror world, she’d circle back and connect the dots. If I owned this book, I would have highlighted half of it. It was a very enlightening look into our current political climate and explained how so many are finding themselves down the conspiracy rabbit hole. But it was also so much more. Loved it.
