there is so much i loved about this book, but first:
the GARGOYLE. my god. The gargoyle. I. Love. Him.
If you see me talking to myself for the foreseeable future… mind your business bc its actually me talking to my imaginary gargoyle friend.
The world building and overall feeling of this book was also just so beautiful, and I was truly watching this book unfold in 4k in my head.
Every character jumps off the page into your brain, and I loved their little band of misfits so deeply.
The ending may be diabolical and i will now be counting the seconds until book 2.. but it’s so worth the pain and wait.
