I adored this book! It felt like old school Penelope Ward and I loved that! Her signature style of warmth, heart, real-life scenarios, and fantastic banter rolled up together and give When August Ends 5 stars.

Heather and Noah’s age gap means nothing when their chemistry is so unbelievably present. You can’t help but root for them because really, Noah is basically perfect. I endlessly enjoyed their back and forth banter! Penelope Ward does it again, as When August Ends is the perfect read to get you headed into spring!
