I'm currently reading Raven stratagem by Yoon Ha Lee. This is the second book in The machineries of empire series. I'm listening to the audiobook and reading a copy from the library. Reading this for the Magical readathon for Psionics & Divination with the prompt: Clairsentience - book set in the future.
I'm enjoying this more than book one. It is easier to follow, because I know certain aspects of this world more. I do miss the main character from book one a bit to be honest. But I do also like the new characters and that there are multiple perspectives. The writing and world building are still great.
This one took me forever to finish. Not totally sure why, because I did enjoy it when I read it. Probably because I started this one pretty quickly after finishing the first book and binging series doesn't work well every time for me. The twist at the part at the end was pretty good and promising for the next book.
