F-ING FINALLY finished.
Took me a GOOD chunk of time during the busy holidays to finish this but it was great! 4/5 because of how incredibly detailed some parts were that it took me so long to get through. I had watched the movie many times and this story is one of my favorites ever. Still don’t like how he kills Quilty and the book didn’t mention that Lolita dies in childbirth or that H. H is executed but still liked it!
Many people miss the entire idea of this book and the message it provides. I have the 50th Anniversary Edition so I don’t if this is included in other copies but DON’T SKIP THE FOREWORD, IT IS THERE FOR A REASON. If you don’t read it and then hate the book, it’s because you skipped it!
