With You Forever by Chloe Liese

5.0

I am back to my Bergman’s reread!! I love them so so much. And with the last one finally coming out so soon I realized I had to get started again. And I just LOVE being in this world. Rereading has been such a dream, and knowing where everyone ends up kind of makes it sweeter?!

Rooney and Axel are everything. They’re soft and sweet and the PINING and the tension?? And the marriage of convenience?? All the forced proximity?!  Chloe is the queen of a grumpy/sunshine slow burn and this time around the fact that Ax and Rooney have been PINING for each other since they met and end up married makes it so much better. Their love is so tender, they’re so different but they’re able to really and truly connect in a way they both desperately need.

They also knew how to care for each other in ways they didn’t think someone else could. Rooney’s health issues and Axel’s neurodivergence were just facts, parts of life, things that didn’t need more explanation. And I loved seeing them love each other so easily regardless of anything else.

Also special shoutout to Rooney and Willa’s friendship. And Axel and Skylar’s relationship!!

I love this book. I think it’s a little underrated on my list which is a crime. But I think my love for Willa and Ryder clouds a lot of my judgement!!
