Das Gesicht des Bösen by Kathy Reichs

3.0

Very unusual storyline for Tempe Brennan. Instead of solving a crime as a forensic anthropologist, Tempe went into full on detectice mode (even more than in the previous books). She literally only analyzed one (!!) single bone throughout the entire book which turned out to not even be human after all.

Also really didn't like the child pornography aspect as well as all those conspiracy theories.

There was no real mystery to be solved and the plot was very predictable. I was really rooting for a plot twist at the end, but was disappointed when it just confirmed what I guessed early on (and I usually never guess right, so I guess that isn't on me being a crime solving genius).
