Loop of Jade by Sarah Howe

This collection houses a range of forms and styles, which I really enjoyed. Poems about childhood, nature, the city, all somehow fit together to create something of a melancholic longing, a nostalgia that isn’t fully based in happiness. At least, for me. The prosaic poems are beautifully eloquent, they make me want to write page after page of structured thought.
