Bible and Breakfast: 31 Mornings with Jesus--Feeding Our Bodies and Souls Together by Asheritah Ciuciu

4.0

A novel concept. Combining breakfast recipes with Bible Study. So simple, so practical.
I liked the pairings of recipes to Bible Study pieces. What was especially good was that the Study is in two parts - the "Snack on the Go", for "THOSE" mornings and "Feast" for the days when you have more time. The fact that there is space for you to make your own notes etc is great. It turns the book into a journal of sort and is great to go back to time after time and reread or perhaps edit thoughts.
The indications of "freezer-friendly" and "kid-friendly" with the recipes are brilliant.
The personal anecdotes from the author make it feel "chatty" and friendly to work through. The author isn't "preachy" - she comes across as your normal kind of Mom, living her Faith.
Sustenance for both body and Soul.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for allowing me to read this book.
