No surprises here. There is a solid romance created, but there is too much focus on it. The beauty of the story that could've been lies in the politics of the gods, and we don't see nearly enough of it. In fact the ending of this section reads so fast I had to go back and reread it to have it make any sense at all. Three stars, but only because of potential that wasn't.
