Ruin by Laurelin Paige
4.0
Ruin begins pretty much where the first book left off. This time around Celia and Edward bare their souls, peeling back the surface layers to expose what's beneath, if you've read the first book you'll have already guessed that what's revealed isn't pretty. Yet somehow that act of them opening up and being vulnerable in front of each other is beautiful. In that one act you see how they fit, how right they are for each other even as battered and bruised as they are. I loved watching them explore each other in a different light as well as sexually. Edward is still an ass even more so in this book but there's another side to him that I loved. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them because I'm sure all of their secrets haven't been revealed as yet. I definitely recommend this book.
