Eddie is a charming 90 year old who effortlessly pumps goodwill into the world. He works at a thrift shop, occasionally taking items that seem sentimental home in case the donator changes their mind. In the process he meet Belle, a pink- haired 20 year old whose boyfriend just died. When she comes back for the items she donated, she and Eddie form a bond. Over time she discovers that he’s never been kissed. As the titles implies, she helps him look for love. Eddie allows it because of how much joy it brings Belle in the midst of her grief, but Eddie discovers how much his heart has been pining for the love of his youth. Flashing back to their early days, each page asks if Eddie will find love. Different, sweet, and sentimental, this book was absolutely delightful. I loved Eddie and his relationships, his joy, optimism, character, and good old-fashioned goodwill. LOVED!!!
