Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt
5.0
*Update: I will forever love this book, the characters, the story, the relationships and the message in it.
I read this book so long ago, and just re-read it today. There are a few things I learned from this book, immortality can be either a gift or a curse, it's what you make of it. Another important lesson that I learned from this book and it is from one of my favorite passages is, "Life's got to be lived, no matter how long or short...You got to take what comes. We just go along, like everyone else, one day at a time." I guess when I was younger, I didn't really quite understand this book. Now that I have re-read it, I understand it so much more, and I truly love this book.
