I read this book as a kid and it was immediately one of my favorites. I read it to my son when he was a kid, he read it to me as he got older, he saved his allowance to buy it and other Roald Dahl books from the bookmobile, and now we read Roald Dahl to his kids.

This books lives in my heart and always will. There is no way for me to review it objectively.
