MY SHORT AND SWEET REVIEW:

I liked this book. It has everything you could want in a contemporary romance novel. It has good writing, drama, sweet moments, angst, and of course, the smexy scenes. It will pull on your heartstrings too.

Hawke. I love him so much. He deserves all the love in the world. I wanna hug him and make sure assure him that everything is going to be okay. Nicole, I’m not too fond of. I get where she was coming from, but her attitude towards Hawke in the beginning is inexcusable for me.

TROPES: Enemies to Lovers, Touch her and you die, Forbidden Romance, Forced Proximity

FINAL THOUGHTS & RATING:

Unfortunately, the cheating part of the story is not my cup of tea. I’m not really into that kind of trope. It is very rare that I can enjoy reading about infidelities in books. This is, unfortunately, is not one of those situations. Don’t get me wrong, this book is great. It was written very well, the characters were great, the emotional aspect of the book was done well. But, I just can’t get pass the cheating.
