Battle Royale: Remastered by Koushun Takami

Kept me hooked the entire time. Just as good as the film and even better, doesn't make the film worse either. Both are incredible works in their own right.

Incredibly well written, tells the story of a group of classmates who have to kill or be killed. Twists and turns keep you hooked through these almost 700 pages, heartbreak, hope and deception are all too common in this short world.

Highly reccomend, but with the descriptions in this book, make sure you have a half decent stomach at least.
