Fire by Kristin Cashore

I generally liked the plot line of this book. I liked Fire, and Brigan, as well as a bunch of other characters. But, as the book went on, I felt like this book was just everyone having sex with everyone. And it was referenced to as a big thing. It just happened and you heard about it later. Also, a big discovery at the end about two main characters wasn't even technically true.
Spoiler Archer and Brigan aren't brothers. Brigan's parents are Roen and Brocker. Archer's parents are Jod and Aliss. Therefore, not brothers.
Other than those, I liked he book well enough, and could sort of see how it led into [b:Graceling|3236307|Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1)|Kristin Cashore|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1331548394s/3236307.jpg|3270810], and now I will have to read [b:Bitterblue|12680907|Bitterblue (Graceling Realm, #3)|Kristin Cashore|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1331532273s/12680907.jpg|6508730] to see how they all fit together.
