I loved the writing style if this book, even if it was at sometimes a bit more vulgar than I am used to. It was very character driven, and I was not expecting the religious undertones as well. Thoroughly enjoyed this book, however the ending for me personally was a but hard-hitting and unexpected. I think all of the romance between the main two character starts incredibly fast and unrealistic. They also did not seem to make sense.
Minor: Abandonment
the abandonement issues are overall quite minor throughout the book, but the ending makes it hit a little harder.
